T O P I C R E V I E Wkr4mulaDo any of our hardware experts here have information on the Mercury UCD, particularly that worn by John Glenn (which is now at the National Air and Space Museum)? I'm helping a colleague with some research, but we're coming up empty. I'm interested in development, manufacture, etc. Any documents or data would be of interest. Thanks in advance!moorougeYou might care to hunt through these -NASA Space Medicine in Project Mercury SP-4003; A paper on Space Suits - ref N6S-88672; Booklet ref - NAMRL SR 96-1.I think you can Google all of them. The first is an interesting read even if it doesn't help much.z0senseNot sure if it is relevant anymore, but I could not find a picture of one using a quick google search. However I do have quiet a few sealed contingency UCD for males (the condom like variety) and female (depends).Awkward items to have, but I do have them sealed and marked for flight.
